Nearly 229,000 H-1B cap-subject petitions were received by the USCIS during the initial registration period from March 1 to March 17. The USCIS uses a computer-generated random selection process to select petitions from the received H-1B cap-subject petitions. All the selected registrants will receive a selection notification by email in their accounts.
